The upper level of an attic apartment was simultaneously access to the terrace and bedroom. Given the very limited space allowed by the roof construction, a nested special solution had to be found which guaranteed access to the terrace and enough storage at the same time.

A small bridgelike path, at a slightly lower level, leads past the bed. Underneath both constructions drawers and flaps provide access to the storage. Due to the deformed plan the bed rests on one side on the walkway though it can also stand independently.

A „closet“ is formed by an additional wooden platform and hung sliding elements made out of sails. A room-high shelf elongates the room and creates a more intimate atmosphere.
